September 18th, 2008Guru Ji is with me, at hand….
its funny how Guru ji presents Thyself… when you break down “Guru” meanings from Dark to Lightness. when ever we go through the “Khatia Dukh Bukh Sad Maar, Eh Be Daat Tayree Datar” stages of life, its always hurt so much, we get frustrated b/c our Ego gets tested over and over, yet this is the beauty of it, as we go through the horrible pain and agony of the transition, we do banis, meditations, kriyas, keertan, gatka, kundalini yoga, some sort of sadhana to remind us that Guru ji is Ang Sang.
In our darkest moments we bring that Light of Guru, or gyan, to bring that trans formative creative energy of Waheguru/God to help up release what ever bonds or patterns or fantasy we had trapped with in our psyches, and finally we are able to release it, and after wards just utter “waheguru”….

finally being able to break through and be the light house…
August 23rd, 2008Sin… pretty heavy burden
So i was coming home Friday, on the marta. When this asian woman, bless her heart, was spreading the good word of the Lord, via these awesome comics, talking about Bhagat Issa also known as Jesus Click here to learn more about Bhagat Issa i was flipping through it, and i read some lines through it. I remembered back in High School, a couple of my friends, were trying to save me and my soul from an eternity of hell fire and damnation. They kept on saying ” We are all born of Sin, thus we can never met the Lord… Jesus is the only way, He is the Door through which we have to walk through….”
Back then of course, i was a simple naive kid, who did not know much about the principles of Sikh Dharma, all i knew was, that there were 10 Gurus, and saakhis i heard as a child…. so of course i would end up getting flustered and in tears… when i wouldn’t know how to answer them, and their questions, i would just have a blank look on my face, and they would smile and tell me, see i told you…. but bless their hearts because it got me thinking really strong and hard, on how to respond…
anyways on Friday, i opened up those cool comic pamphlets, and saw that line “We are all born in Sin”… then i was like oh here we go again. So just now i had banis playing on my computer, and i had to go to the Bathroom, then on the toilet, i thought, wait isn’t it a sin to be in the bathroom, and listen to Bani? b/c i’m doing a foul act… so then all of a sudden i laughed and the lightbulb clicked… and the answer came to me…. since God/Waheguru/Allah created the whole world, and all the tatvaas and primal elements, so there is no sin in it, but what does it mean to be born of sin.
Then i realized that as our souls leave our bodies, and go up to Dharma Raj, and there Dharma Raj reads our accounts to us, now here the thing , the word escapes me, anyways so its the Soul’s desire to come down, its’ ego which brings it down to the Earth. For as along as the soul still recognizes itself as being a part of the earth, and is in duality, it is stuck to Samara, the cycle of birth and death, but so long as the self/I identifies it self with the Thou, then there is on clinging to the material self… and it can unify it self because the duality is gone. and there is the unity of the Self….
so thus when ever there is Sin aka Duality there is no chance of getting to “heaven”, also that classic line of “Jesus is the only door to heaven” funny thing about that door, to me there has to be a path to any door correct, so in this case, instead of just talking about the door, or believing in the door, one has to actually walk the path of gaining access to the door. that path which is infront of the door, you have to walk on that path. Follow its rehit (code of conduct) when you are walking on that pathway to get through that door, b/c cause if you dont follow the rehit (Code of conduct) and just barge in , that’s just rude….
