this whole incident with Varun Gandhi, made me look at all the other people in the Gandhi lineage. After Indira Gandhi’s abuse of political power from her second term 71′-84′, i dont want to get into all of it(history about her 2nd term).

Ever since the karmas have been going through her family… firstly her first son Sanjay Gandhi, dies in a mysterious plane crash.

And then her second son, Rajeev Gandhi assassinated from a suicide bomb attack details, Now when i was looking at Thenmozhi Rajaratnam, the suicide bomber who assissnated Rajeev Gandhi. and i came across an interesting fact… according to Police/Media ,”…After garlanding Rajiv, Rajaratnam evidently stooped to touch his feet and activated the explosive. Rajiv might have tried to stop her; his face bore the impact of the blast.”full incident

When i read that line of the report, i was shocked cause i knew i read it before somewhere… it was weird cause i read about it from Gurbani.. yes from Guru Granth Sahib Ji…Guru Ji always says that if you dont live accordingly to dharma your face will be beaten…

the most amazing tunk is by Bhagat Kabir Ji its on ang 1375 of Guru Granth Sahib Ji in the Salokhs of Bhagat Kabir..

tunk-unfair-rule

300px-tarujee now there was another incident of this where i’ve heard similar in Sikh History it was about the Shaheedi of Bhai Taru Singh Ji

there was one prior account with Bhai Taru Singh Ji, before he was about to become descalped he said “”I shall keep my faith with these hair and you shall be controlled by my shoes and with these you will die.” ,,after Bhai Taru Singh Ji had his scalped descalped it turned out that the governor that passed that ruling on him, wasn’t able to urinate, so only when Bhai Taru Singh Ji beat him with his own shoe was he able to pass urine, and finally on the 22nd slap, that governor died.

but still shows omg the amazing power of Guru Ji

March 29th, 200940 days left

last night i realized that i have forty days left until i graduate from school. my masters will be complete :) …. after that who knows, as of right now work is piling up and i have to quite a number of things to get done, before
i’m home free, well with Guru ji’s grace i know ill be out soon.

In honor of that, i’ve been a little reluctant to move on, so last night i was able to find the shabds , from Guru Granth Sahib Ji, which make up Sukhmana Sahib Ji. I’m not too sure what this bani does, but there is some similarities to Sukhmani sahib, however the bani, which make up Sukhmana Sahib, were written by Guru Ram Daas Ji.  The structure of the bani, is alot like Rehraas Sahib, where it spans the whole Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. its in four different parts of the Guru and spans for pages in length.

I also remember in Pranayam – there are the nadis from which our breath flow, ida (right nostril) , pingla (left nostril)  and the one in the middle is Shumana/Sukhmana perhap it has to correlate to these aspects who knows. :) Also Sant Isher Singh Ji did a katha on this… check out here

Sukhmana Sahib

A month back, the Baru Sahib Jatha and Baba Iqbal Singh Ji did keertan and the Tucker Gurdwara. It was amazing and the Jatha even did Dhaadhi vaar, I did the recordings off my iphone, so it took me a while to transfer the files off my phone, but i finally was able to do it. Below is Baba Ji’s katha on Haumani and attachment, its mainly in punjabi but there is some english and you can still understand it :)

February 15th, 2009The Truth…

The Truth... For the past couple of days and weeks i’ve had this shabd, stuck in my head and it’s done by Bhai Surinder singh Jodhpuri, go here and listen
but like its been kinda weird couple of days, in reality ever since i turned 25, and well you know how they say in Sikhi or in the terms of Dharma, you just surrender yourself to the Will of God, or Rabh Di Iccha Oye Honda, henna, it all started with that darn Facebook "25 random" things about me" then i started listening all the things that God has put me through, and i’m reading this thinking i’m supposed to die i’m supposed to be dead, i’m not supposed to be here, and then i realized at the age of 20, (being blessed with Amrit), i had gotten my worth and just thath being completely worthless, (nahchijjia di chij) its like oh man…. I remember hearing the Kathas of Bhai Parminder Singh Ji (Surrey Guru Nanak Dev Academy Vale) in his kathas, saying that "We are just sacks of Dirt, Bhagat Kabir says we are Sacks of Dirt, and how even still Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj picked us up and out of the dirt, and made us his sons and daughters, his children, tell me what else could our Guru Ji do for us? He even gave us his whole family.. just for this one thing… this gift of Amrit… how could we even begin to repay him"….
its just that there so much more going on.. and all i can do is just Surrender, and anyways i just got out of the shower, and went to pull a Hukam, i had his heavy day where my heart center was in a funk, with all i had learned and tried to process, then
i just open the PDF and this Hukam comes again…
har jeeo nimaaniaa thoo maan ||
O Dear Lord, You are the honor of the dishonored.
nicheejiaa cheej karae maeraa govi(n)dh thaeree kudharath ko kurabaan || rehaao ||
You make the unworthy ones worthy, O my Lord of the Universe; I am a sacrifice to Your almighty creative power. ||Pause||

September 10th, 2008fish in water

Ok so yesterday i started playing Sukhmani Sahib, Learn more in my apartment yesterday, and my Roommate’s fish (two of them) passed away. its rather interesting to think about the impact bani has… even though the “naad and shabd guru” were subtly traveling through the room, they were able to reach his fish… Then his fish were able to reach mutki =) hehe…. then that reminded me of this shabd of Guru Ram Daas Ji’s

August 21st, 2008Lavaan

So one of the most coolest ceremonies with in Sikh Dharma is the Lavaan, other wise known as the Wedding Ceremony. the other day i was listening to a katha by Giani Thakur Singh Ji (http://gurbaniupdesh.org) and the katha was dealing with the Lavaan. I only listened to the first 15 minutes, how ever there was still so much gyan. =)

anyways Giani ji states that the whole ceremony is rather amazing, and there is nothing coincidental about it. Now alot of this i may be mixing up with another Katha, Giani Ji stated about Guru Ram Daas But still it makes it even more awesome, also there may be stuff i heard from Siri Singh Sahib and Baba Iqbal Singh Ji. But then after listening to the Katha and also my experience with women and men, other thoughts came in my mind…. so heres something to think about….

The Lavaan was written by Guru Ram Daas Ji, Sodhi Sultan. I also believe he created the ceremony as well, now with in Sikhi (and other dharms as well) we believe in Micro- and Macro- cosm. Which is the belief that whatever is made in the universe, is also made in side of every single living beings. Being the Five Tatvaas (primal elements: Earth, Air, Water, Fire, and Ether). so if you look at the “Lavaa” part, the walking around the Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji four times, there are alot of meanings to it. Firstly
regardless of how crazy the world may get i realize that the my center is always Guru Ji. But also look at the planets, and how with in Bhaee (Fear/Love of God) they follow the hukam of God. As the Earth goes around the Sun, in orbit; the Moon follows and goes around the Earth, the same way as the Groom goes around the Guru, and the Bride goes behind the Groom. now i know this sounds really sexist, and why is that the bride has be behind the groom.

Yet if you think about it, even Siri Singh Sahib states “That the Bride gives “Thakay” pushes to the Groom, to make him go forward, kind of like the way that a farmer whips the mule to go forward” inthe same way the Bride has to push her husband forward, and ask him the two questions all wives have to ask their husband, “WHY, are you doing this?” and “IF you had listened to me, this would not have happened” also the Bride is like the moon, she waxes and wanes, but the Earth feels the pull of the Moon, BUT NEVER LOOSES Its OrBit around the sun. the Same way the Husband must never be so affected by his wife that he looses his orbit/sadhana/commitment to the Guru being the center of his life.

Also if the Husband looses his devotion to God, the wife will leave him. b/c if the Earth stopped its orbit around the Sun, then the moon will leave. but so long as the earth stays strong and constant with his orbit its good.

Ok so i’ll continue on this later, but below is a recording of Lavaan of my good friends “Mandeep Singh and Charanpreet Kaur Jupiter Vale” from their ceremony it was about 20 months back, it was soooo amazing! Baba Iqbal Singh Ji and the Akal Academy Jatha did the keertan and led the service. waheguru
